History of S.E.A.
In 1978, several youth leaders from Southern California churches initiated weekend surf camps for Jr. and Sr. High School students to various locations along the coastlines of Southern Cali-fornia and Baja California, Mexico, with the objective of providing quality youth surf camps in a Christian environment and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to youth in a growing surf culture.
These weekend mobile surf camps continued on a monthly basis, featuring a tightly structured program with a "team" emphasis, requiring equal participation from everyone for the camp's daily responsibilities. Nine years later, in 1987, this distinct surf camp ministry was incorporated and took the name Surfing Expeditions & Adventures to reflect its original vision that continues in its Camps today.

S.E.A. Staff
Safety takes top priority in all S.E.A. Camps. Our primary staff is trained in CPR, first aid, lifesaving techniques, youth protection programs, and includes certified lifeguards. Each is skilled in all varieties of surf and water craft. Adult supervision is 24/7 and the ratio of campers to staff averages 4 to 1.
In addition to our primary staff, a variety of friends, family, adult alumni and other volunteers lend their time and talents to help S.E.A. Camps run smoothly and successfully.
