What happens when a camp session fills?
We like to keep our camps on the smaller side and the optimum number of campers at any of our camps is between 8 to 10 with a maximum of 12. When a specific camp session fills we begin a wait list. Check the specific camp calendar that you are interested in for availability, or you may contact us.

Should I bring my own surfboard, or do you have any surfboards that I may use?
We do have an assortment of soft-top surfboards that may be used by our campers. However, we do recommend that you do bring your own surfboard(s) and/or bodyboard(s). If you are flying to any of our camps, check with the airline to see how much additional baggage fees they may charge for surfboards/bodyboards so you can bring enough money to cover all your travel costs.

Do you accommodate special dietary needs?
We try our best to accommodate basic food allergies and other dietary needs such as vegetarianism or lactose intolerance. However, we are limited in the amount of variety of dishes that we are able to offer and the additional resources necessary to prepare special meals. We request that campers with special dietary needs discuss with us in advance of registration the feasibility of accommodating their needs.

What if I need to take medications or vitamin supplements during camp?
All medications and/or vitamin requirements must be listed, with dosage, on the Application and Medical Release Form. We recommend bringing all medication in original packaging in labeled ziplock bags. If you have a special concern about your healthcare needs, please discuss with us prior to registration.

If I need to fly to get to a camp, how will I get to the camp from the airport?
We do provide transportation to and from our camps from local airports. Please contact us prior to making your airline arrangements so we can coordinate your tranportation needs.

How shall I pack and what should I bring to camp?
Campers are encouranged to pack as lightly as possible. We urge campers not to bring expensive clothing, or clothing that require special care. A list of "What to Bring and What Not to Bring" can be downloaded from the Registration Page.

What will the accommodations be like?
Accommodations vary with our Camps. Camp accommodations include bunkhouse facilities, palapas, cottages, State or County campgrounds and remote beach sites.

Do you ever need any help at a camp?
Yes. We always can use help from our adult alumni or other adults who are willing to serve others. If you are interested, please contact us by email or call our office.

If I don't surf very well can I still come?
Yes. However, please be aware that S.E.A. Camps are not surf camps that provide surf lessons for beginning surfers. We have all levels of surfers come to our camps and our activities do provide enjoyment and challenges for everyone.
However, S.E.A. can custom-fit our program to accommodate organizations (large or small) such as church groups and youth organizations.

Do you offer scholarships if I cannot afford the camp fees?
Thanks to donations and contributions we receive from time to time, we can offer sponsorships to help offset camp tuition fees. Please contact us for more information.

Do you offer group rates at any of your camps?
Yes, we do. We do offer group discounts. Please contact us for further information.

Is there an age requirement for any of your camps?
Yes. Our age requirement is from age 14 to 20. However, we have made exceptions for several campers, so if your age is not somewhere within that range and you still wish to come please contact us so we may discuss if an exception can be made for you as well.

Do your camps allow girls to participate?
